Where there's a will, there's a way! *NEW VIDEO POSTED* *A/C FIXED*

You may be guessing what in the world did I do now. What's the great success? Well gents many people asked for it, others dreamed about it, and others simply didn't achieve it. I and FrauGTS took it to ourselfs to make it happen and here are the end results. I will let the picture speak louder that my words...

Yes, you guessed right. The first ever Apex-i PFC powered Corolla XRS in the world. Everything is running SMOOTH. The only drawbacks as of now is that like the Hydra the temp gauge is not working and neither is the A/C, but don't worry the fix to that is already being worked on. What we are going to do is just let the stock ECU do all the A/C&Temp work and leave the PFC to do what it was intended to do. In other words were going to be use the stock ECU in parallel with the PFC. No more temp and AC issues!

The PFC was tested in my XRS which is completly stock as you can see from the pics. The whole deal is PLUG&PLAY. No need to splice, cut or solder any cables. Since we were so excited we decided to hit the dyno and see how it was working. We did NO tuning whatsoever, just lower Lift to 6000rpm and left everything as is using one of my base maps. Here is the dyno:

PFC vs. Stock ECU

As you can see, great gains by activating Lift earlier and there's still alot of tuning to be done and improve power even further. Here are the engine pics:

Well gents I will have further pics soon along with a video. Hope you guys are happy as much as I'm. For those wondering, yes I plan to reproduce the harness and sell it. No price as of yet.

Cheers!

This sounds very interesting. Hydra will have some competition. I'll be watching this thread for sure!

Amazing, too bad I have Hydra now though. The PCF is not a full standalone correct and what can you modify while using it?

ah, how much do you think you will charge for the entire setup? BTW sick numbers for just throwing a base map onto the car.

As Red said, the dyno was presented just to show a PFC controlled Corolla XRS (bone stock). Attractive hp numbers will come soon (+190whp). We plan to offer the harness, or PFC+harness, depending on the interest from you guys.

PS: We dont wanna take anything from the Hydra. We just wanted to offer another alternative (cheaper btw) for a standalone to the Corolla/Matrix 2zz community.

Very nice results, power seems to be very linear and gradual after lift. Depending on my project plans you've convinced me to get a PFC.

Geezes! Geezes christ on a hockey stick! Look at the area under the curve compared to the base map! Oh my god you wonderful **** stick. If this is priced under 1k I'm saving for it, no questions asked. And that's not even a fully tuned map. The car looks stock too. Hydra has some competition. This can only be good. How expensive I wonder? Could you give us a range redliner? What does it use for map-making?

*fellate*

Edit: Btw, what could be causing that convergence at 5250 RPM?

No price yet on the harness. I'll let you guys know when we have that ready. The dip you see at 5200rpm is simply that the map needs tuning. I did no tuning whatsoever, simply loaded up a base map I made and went for a couple of runs.

just choose your words carefully before saying you will buy anything.

maybe I am a dick but its a reality. or maybe I am drunk and its 3;20a
